The car was no more than 24 hrs in their possession. We picked up around noon because we didn't know where the car went (no notice, no towing signs in place). High towing charge fee and no disclosure of the fee on site: The company charged $250 for a car that was towed around 3AM on Saturday. Waiver was about releasing Anytime Towing from any liability. The waiver clearly states that a representative of Anytime Towing is to explain to us this waiver. Upon receiving the waiver I read it and told the employee "you want me to sign a false statement, because no one has explained to us what is on this waiver. The waiver was not shown to us, so I refused to sing until the waiver was presented. Company doesn't provide you with an invoice until you sign a waiver.
I was not able to inspect the invoice because payment was required first. Company lied about where the car was towed from. It took us three hours to find out where the car was. It was not until we went to the guard house that we were informed of the possibility that a towing company might have taken our car. They have an exclusive contract with the HOA to enforce this regulation, so they must hold greater accountability and improved performance to maintain a reputable unquestionable business practices: No notice was left advising us that the car was towed and where or who to contact. My complaint is not about the HOA towing rules, but the dishonest way Anytime Towing is conducting their business in this community. I found out this weekend that the community has active towing in all neighborhoods from 1am to 6am. I'm a new resident in this community and my neighborhood is still under some final construction (unfinished side walks, missing road signs etc). On Anytime Towing company was giving access to Providence, a community located in Davenport, FL.
